Artists & Performers Collaboration Policy
-
Nomadica Project is an independent London-based live music and cultural platform focused on immersive, artist-led and community-driven experiences.
The platform aims to support meaningful collaboration between artists, performers, audiences, venues and creative practitioners through carefully curated live programming rooted in atmosphere, cultural connection and creative exchange.

-
Nomadica Project approaches collaboration as an open, respectful and non-exclusive creative relationship.
The project values:
Artistic freedom and individuality
Cross-cultural and interdisciplinary collaboration
Ethical and transparent communication
Long-term creative community building
Grassroots live music culture
Thoughtful and immersive audience experiences
Rather than operating through restrictive structures, Nomadica aims to create an environment where artists can participate freely, develop connections organically and collaborate through shared artistic vision and mutual respect.
-
Participation in Nomadica Project activities is entirely non-exclusive unless otherwise agreed separately in writing for a specific project or event.
Artists and performers:
remain fully independent
retain ownership of their creative work and identity
are free to collaborate with other organisations, venues, agencies or promoters
are under no obligation to continue future collaborations with Nomadica
are not automatically represented, managed or contracted by Nomadica outside individually agreed event arrangements
Similarly, Nomadica Project remains free to independently curate future programming according to each project's direction, operational capacity and artistic suitability.
-
Nomadica Project operates through selective and curated programming intended to create immersive and meaningful live experiences.
Programming decisions may consider:
Artistic compatibility and musical direction
Cultural and creative alignment
Audience experience and atmosphere
Event pacing and flow
Technical and operational feasibility
Venue suitability
Collaborative potential between artists and disciplines
Submission forms, conversations, artist research or collaborative discussions do not guarantee selection for future programming or events.
-
Collaborations with artists and performers are generally organised on a project-by-project basis.
Depending on the activity, Nomadica may arrange:
Live performance opportunities
Collaborative showcases
Immersive and multidisciplinary events
Artist research and discovery initiatives
Promotional collaborations
Creative discussions and networking opportunities
Touring or production-related coordination support
Specific event details, responsibilities and operational arrangements may be confirmed separately through written agreements where required.
-
Nomadica respects the creative identity and artistic independence of all collaborators.
Artists retain:
Full ownership of their intellectual property and original material
Creative control over their artistic direction and performances
Freedom regarding branding, image and external collaborations
Independence regarding career and professional decisions
Nomadica does not claim ownership, exclusivity or long-term control over participating artists or performers.
-
Nomadica Project aims to foster respectful, collaborative and inclusive working environments.
Artists, performers and collaborators are expected to engage professionally and respectfully with:
Audiences
Venues and promoters
Technical and production teams
Creative contributors
Staff, volunteers and collaborators
Discriminatory, abusive, exploitative, threatening or unsafe behaviour may result in the suspension or termination of collaborative activity.
-
Nomadica Project recognises the financial pressures affecting independent artists, grassroots venues and emerging live music ecosystems.
The platform aims to support fair, transparent and respectful working practices wherever operationally viable, including:
clear communication regarding fees and expectations
transparent event agreements
realistic budgeting discussions
responsible operational planning
awareness of PRS reporting responsibilities where applicable
Where financially and operationally viable, Nomadica will aim to prioritise:
guaranteed artist fees
fair ticket split structures
transparent financial agreements
sustainable event planning
Where possible, guaranteed fees combined with percentage-based ticket splits may be explored to support fairer artist compensation and shared event growth.
However, as an evolving independent grassroots platform, some projects may operate under limited or experimental financial structures depending on:
venue conditions
production costs
funding availability
ticketing capacity
collaborative arrangements
event scale and risk
Where fixed guarantees are not operationally possible, artists will always be informed clearly and in advance if a project is proposed under alternative structures, including percentage splits after agreed expenses.
Artists remain entirely free to decline or withdraw from opportunities prior to formal agreement if the proposed structure does not align with their expectations or requirements.
Nomadica does not support exploitative pay-to-play practices or restrictive participation models.
Artists remain responsible for ensuring they are appropriately registered with relevant royalty collection organisations where applicable.
-
Nomadica Project recognises merchandise as an important source of income, artistic identity and audience connection for independent artists and performers.
Where operationally possible, the platform aims to support commission-free merchandise opportunities alongside post-performance audience interaction and informal networking.
Venue or operational limitations affecting merchandise activity will always be communicated in advance where possible.
Artists remain responsible for:
Their own merchandise stock and pricing
Payment handling unless otherwise agreed
Relevant permissions or licensing where applicable
Setup and pack down within agreed timings
Nomadica Project does not aim to profit from artist merchandise sales.
-
Artists and performers are expected to communicate technical and operational requirements as early as reasonably possible to support smooth event coordination.
Technical information should ideally be provided at least 14 days before an event. In shorter-notice situations, a minimum of 7 days is strongly recommended.
This may include:
Technical riders
Stage plots
Input lists
Hospitality requirements
Performance schedules
Backline requirements
Access or setup considerations
Where agreed within the project scope, Nomadica Project may assist with technical advancing preparation where documentation is unavailable.
Artists remain responsible for the accuracy and timely communication of their own technical and performance documentation unless separate support has been agreed in advance.
Clear communication and cooperation are essential to fostering positive working relationships and delivering live events for all parties involved.
-
Nomadica Project values cultural exchange and cross-cultural collaboration between artists, audiences and creative communities.
As the platform evolves, Nomadica is exploring ways to help reduce some of the financial pressure associated with independent touring and international collaboration.
This may include collaborative accommodation support, reduced-cost arrangements and partnerships with wider creative and cultural networks where operationally viable.
No formal international support structures or touring guarantees are currently provided unless explicitly confirmed for a specific project or collaboration.
-
Nomadica Project continues developing through practical experience, collaboration and ongoing creative experimentation.
The project may document selected collaborations, performances and behind-the-scenes processes for promotional, archival or educational purposes.
Artists and collaborators may be featured through photography, video content, interviews, playlists, social media activity or other promotional material connected to the project.
As an independently developing platform, certain formats, partnerships and initiatives may continue evolving over time.
Artists remain responsible for ensuring they hold the appropriate rights to any materials provided to Nomadica for promotional use.
