Venue Collaborations & Programming Policy
-
Nomadica Project is an independent London-based live music and cultural platform focused on collaborative, artist-conscious and atmosphere-led programming.
The project works with venues, artists and creative collaborators to develop curated live experiences that support audience engagement, cultural exchange and long-term relationships across the live music ecosystem.
-
Nomadica values transparent, respectful and mutually supportive relationships with venues.
The project aims to build long-term partnerships with venues that value independent live music, artistic integrity, operational communication and thoughtful audience experiences.
Collaborations remain project-based and non-exclusive unless otherwise agreed for specific partnerships or event series.
-
Nomadica recognises that financial risk within live music is often shared unevenly between artists, promoters and venues.
Where operationally viable, the project aims to prioritise transparent and balanced deal structures that support fair artist compensation, realistic audience growth and financially responsible event delivery.
Affordable ticket pricing is encouraged where possible to support audience accessibility while helping venues maintain healthy attendance and bar engagement.
While not a requirement, Nomadica values venues able to offer collaborative settlement structures where agreed costs or venue hire may be settled following box office reconciliation to help reduce unnecessary upfront financial pressure on emerging artists and independent promoters.
All financial arrangements remain subject to individual event agreements and operational feasibility.
-
Venues are encouraged to provide accurate technical and operational information during the collaboration process, including:
Technical specifications
Capacity information
Sound limitations
Backline and equipment availability
Accessibility considerations
Staffing, ticketing and door management structures
Rigging or aerial performance limitations where relevant
Any available venue equipment, technical limitations or staffing requirements should be communicated clearly in advance.
Support from in-house sound or lighting technicians is appreciated where available but not required unless previously agreed.
Nomadica may incorporate visual, decorative or immersive production elements depending on the project format. Set-up, pack-down and restoration of the space will always be discussed collaboratively in advance.
Artists, performers and collaborators are expected to respect venue equipment, operational spaces and staff throughout all activities.
-
Nomadica Project will only undertake activities aligned with its current operational, insurance and venue capacity.
Where required, relevant insurance arrangements, including Public Liability Insurance, may be secured ahead of specific projects or events.
Venues and collaborators remain responsible for ensuring their own insurance, licensing and legal compliance obligations are met.
-
Nomadica recognises the importance of grassroots venues as cultural incubators within the wider live music ecosystem.
The project aims to support balanced programming opportunities by combining emerging and established artists, cross-genre collaborations and interdisciplinary live performances where operationally suitable.
Programming may adapt depending on venue identity, audience profile, acoustics, technical capabilities and overall event feasibility.
During early development stages, Nomadica intends to organise selective events across different venues and environments to explore suitable programming formats, audience engagement and long-term collaborative potential.
-
Where operationally possible, Nomadica aims to support commission-free artist merchandise opportunities and informal audience interaction as part of the wider live experience.
Nomadica values venue partnerships that are willing to support suitable space for merchandise and audience engagement activities, recognising their importance for artist sustainability, visibility and long-term audience connection.
Venues are encouraged to advise on the most appropriate areas for these activities where applicable.
Nomadica will aim to ensure artists, merchandise setups and collaborative activities are cleared within agreed venue timings and curfews.
-
Nomadica values artistic freedom while remaining adaptable to the identity, atmosphere and operational realities of different venues.
The project aims to curate programming that respects existing venue culture while introducing thoughtful combinations of genres, artists and live performance experiences capable of maintaining audience engagement and cultural diversity.
-
Nomadica aims to support immersive, respectful and culturally engaging live environments for audiences, artists, venues and collaborators.
Audiences, collaborators and performers are expected to respect venue staff, operational boundaries, restricted areas and the general use of the space throughout all events and activities.
Nomadica also aims to respect venue spaces and encourages collaborators, performers and audiences to help maintain clean, safe and responsible environments throughout events.
-
Nomadica aims to maintain clear and timely communication throughout all stages of planning, programming and event delivery.
Where cancellations or major operational changes become necessary, all parties are expected to communicate as early as reasonably possible to help minimise disruption, financial loss and scheduling impact.
Where operationally viable, alternative dates or revised event arrangements may be explored collaboratively.
Nomadica Project aims to remain actively present during events where possible to support operational continuity, communication and overall event coordination.
-
Nomadica may document selected events, performances and collaborations through photography, video, interviews, social media content or other promotional and archival material connected to the project.
The platform aims to promote participating venues and collaborators respectfully while supporting audience visibility and long-term creative relationships.
Venues remain responsible for ensuring they hold appropriate permissions regarding any materials, branding or third-party content supplied for promotional use.
-
Nomadica Project continues developing through practical experience, collaboration, research and ongoing experimentation within live music and cultural programming.
As an evolving independent platform, certain formats, partnerships and operational approaches may continue adapting over time in response to experience, capacity and project development.
